Abstract Cementation exponent or factor is one of most crucial factors in the Archie’s equations that should be estimated precisely order to accurately determine relevant petrophysical characteristics reservoir. Inaccurate estimation this leads incorrect analysis and inaccurate determination water saturation which highly important for economic forecasting hydrocarbon reservoirs. An alternative cementation precise classify rocks based on a common property such as permeability. This research aims investigate different rock types eventually provide suitable model estimating parameter approaches classification. In paper, first, conventional methods classification (e.g., current zone indicator (CZI), flow (FZI), permeability electrical efficiency) have been used estimation. Then, data, taken from Regnet et al.
